Szólaltasd meg a zárt, majd a nyitott végű sípot! Mit tapasztalsz?

A nyitott végű síp magasabb hangot ad, mint az ugyanolyan hosszú zárt síp.

A sípokkal keltett hang számára a hangszer ürege egy véges hullámtér, amelynek a szélein a hullámok folyamatosan visszaverődnek. Az itt kialakuló állóhullámok határozzák meg a síp hangját.
